Friday Morning 8:15 AM. It’s parent meeting today; and it’s my first time going to a parent meeting at school. Ms. Newman let me in early so I wandered around, took a few pictures of the school.
All parents are Spanish speakers so the Principle talked in Spanish; one Spanish lady (she was last year’s Treasurer) volunteered to be my translator. This meeting is about to come up with the name for the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) and to vote for Board of Directors (President, vice President, Secretary and Treasurer). After 1 hour, my translator left so I left shortly after her because I could not understand what the Principle was talking about.
