Touch-A-Truck

The Touch-A-Truck event is held by the OC Market Place in OC Fairground, free to attend.  It was a raining day but that did not stop us from going.   After going to swim lesson, we went straight to the event.   At first William did not want to go to any truck; so I took him to the police car because I know he’d like that.  After that he started to run around and touch this or that.  Luckily the rain was not that hard and the raincoat I bought him 1 year ago still fit.  We don’t have much rain in California so this is his 2nd time wearing it.

The line was not that long but it was moving slowly so I stood in line while Tim watching William running around.

Full Moon Festival

Saturday night, we wen to Asian Garden Mall (Phuoc Loc Tho) for the Full Moon festival.  William enjoyed listening to the music, drum beats and jumping around.  He patiently waited in line to get the balloon which is very good; then he was ok with face painting which surprised me because he refused several times before.

William likes his Head balloon, but 1 of the balloons broke shortly after that.
William sat still during face painting, he chose the Boat Anchor design.

 

Long Beach Twilight Streets – 2018

Saturday Evening.  We went to Long Beach to see the Twilight Streets festival; William had so much fun jumping, running around with music.  Our dinner was the Hooters burgers and hot dog and fries (Kids menu for $5.99 which includes 1 entry, 1 side and 1 drink but they forgot our drinks); it took about 15 minutes waiting for take out;  best thing is that they validate the parking so we saved $6.00 for parking).

First we walked to the light house; On the way there, William saw 2 birds and said “I want to chase 2 birds” then he ran after them.  Continue on to the light house, William had a chance to touch the fish that some nice man caught but had to release because the fist was too small, he loved it!  Then he had fun running around the light house, up and down the hills.

When we just got to the place, he saw the lights and immediately ran there and stood next to the men; Tim caught it on time.
