We love you, son, so we created this site to records all things involving around you so that when we get old and our memories dont serve us right, we have something to remind us.
We visited a friend’s house (Dan Thuy & Emily), whose has a little playground in his backyard; as soon as William saw it, he ran to it. But looks like he’s a little bit scared of height.
William had just wake up for half of hour and was playing in the bed room while I was laying on the bed checking emails on my phone. Not hearing a sound from William for a few minutes, which always means he’s up to something. Soon I found him sitting on the floor and pour all of the baby powder on his body!
The class is over but the door is still lock so I waited outside the metal fence while William and Mrs. Hana waited inside the fence. While waiting I took a few pics of William jumping up and down all happy holding Mrs. Hana’s hand.
Sunday 8:30 PM. William’s Grandma (Tim’s Mom) came to U.S.A from Vietnam without no issues at all while flying. Accompanying her on the long flight is aunt Hue, aunt Quyen, uncle Duy and cousin Dai (who is the doctor in Vietnam, we asked him to fly along in case Grandma has any trouble while flying). The flight arrived 8:30 PM but the group could not get out until 11:00 PM because they were getting Green Card for Grandma.
Monday morning 11:00 AM (Memorial holiday) we took William to visit Grandma but she was sleeping so we let her sleep; we’ll come back another day then.
We waited for 5 minutes for someone to open the lock on the fence. William jumped up and down with Ms. Susan while waiting behind the fence. He looked so happy, which made me happy :).
William loves this inflatable duck so much that every time we say “Shower”, he’d run to the bathroom and hold on to this duck, insists to seat in it and play with the water.
We got this tent for William for a while but didn’t inflate it because we don’t have the pump until now. W loves it so much that he crawls in there several times a day. He dragged it from the living room to the hallway and then to the bedroom, he wanted to put it on the bed but I said no. He showed signs of upset: frowned face. Lately he started to throw tantrums when he can’t get what he wants: sometimes he pats me, other times he glances at me with the eyes filled with some tears; the worse I’ve seen so far is that he cries, kicks, uses both hands to hit me or hit on his face, some times scratches his face.
Mother’s Day, Sunday 10:00 AM. We drove to Buena Park to get some bakery for the family at the famous Porto’s Bakery & Cafe, which was just grand opening last month. It was hard to find the parking but we got lucky, we din’t have to wait long. The line to the store entrance was so long, end of the line was outside the store but it was moving fast. This place is so huge with high ceiling, and it was crowded. There were more lines inside the store. It has 4 main areas: cake, bakery, cafe bar & Cafe. We wanted to buy some bakery so we got in the line there, which has the longest line. The order process was kind of hassle because there were lots of people standing in front of counter which cover most of the displaying bakery so I had a hard time to browse around. We had to tell them what we want and they write down. It was my first time there so I just picked the ones that look yummy :). Then we need to wait for the staff to pack the bakery, once they’re done, they will get in line to get to the cashier. We ordered 5 boxes with the same number of items, 10 items per box so it took her a while to box,
Took us more than 1 hour to finally got our hands on the boxes. Total was $70.00.
Today we have a new caregiver named Diana; she’s young (19 years old) and I think I like her. She’s very clever by asking me if our last caregiver was someone I’m looking for. I gave her my honest answer with hoping that she can keep that in mind while babysitting William. I told her that Sarah is a nice lady but I hope she could be a little bit more involved by playing with William in the park instead of just either standing or sitting there watching him. Williams looked so lonely playing alone.
