{"id":1511,"date":"2018-05-07T18:00:44","date_gmt":"2018-05-08T02:00:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/william.mtplace.net\/wpMain\/?p=1511"},"modified":"2022-01-07T19:24:46","modified_gmt":"2022-01-08T03:24:46","slug":"aba-session-at-the-library","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/william.mtplace.net\/wpMain\/2018\/05\/07\/aba-session-at-the-library\/","title":{"rendered":"ABA Session At The Library"},"content":{"rendered":"<figure id=\"attachment_1513\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1513\" style=\"width: 800px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-1513 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/william.mtplace.net\/wpMain\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_8279_newhopeLibrary-800x600.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"http:\/\/william.mtplace.net\/wpMain\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_8279_newhopeLibrary-800x600.jpg 800w, http:\/\/william.mtplace.net\/wpMain\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_8279_newhopeLibrary-768x576.jpg 768w, http:\/\/william.mtplace.net\/wpMain\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_8279_newhopeLibrary.jpg 849w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-1513\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">William picked out a book in Children section<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Monday evening, we had ABA session with Arron and PC with Jody.\u00a0 \u00a0Last week Jody mentioned that William seems to like the books a lot so she suggested that we should go to the library; so we planned for that to happen today.<\/p>\n<p>Around 6:00 PM we Jody, Arron, William and I went to the New Hope library (in separate cars) which only 7 minutes from our house.\u00a0 \u00a0We practiced holding hand while walking on the walk way.\u00a0 Once in the library we asked William to pick out the book, he picked a random one without looking at it; and then refused to pick any other book.\u00a0 He did sit down for 3 minutes while Arron reading the book to him.\u00a0 Then he stood up,\u00a0 walked around; at some point running and talking very loud.<\/p>\n<p>I opened the library membership and we got to check out 2 books today: A pop-up book Red Car Blue Car and The Best Birthday Party.\u00a0 \u00a0I read these book to him late at night and he seemed to like it: he didn&#8217;t ask for Baby Jesus or Zoo Animals which have been his favorite books for months.<\/p>\n<p>He does seem to like listening to book reading; I think going to the library is a fantastic idea.
