Got a call from the school nurse saying William was sitting in her office because his eyes were swollen.\u00a0 She asked I I gave him any medicine in the morning, I said No;\u00a0 She then asked if we ever used the EpiPen, I said &#8220;We never had to.&#8221;.\u00a0 Then she said she&#8217;d let William stayed in her office to watch and would update me if there&#8217;s any news.<\/p>\n<p>After the conversation, it struck me that she mention EpiPen!\u00a0 it must be something worse that she was thinking about using EpiPen.\u00a0 Soon she called me back and told me that the teachers gave out peanut ice cream, even though William did not get it but some how it affected him so that must be why he was scratching his eyes a lot.\u00a0 And she asked that I picked him up.\u00a0 It was 11:50 PM.<\/p>\n<p>I came to the school right away; William was in the nurse office with Ms. Newman.\u00a0 She said she threw away all the peanuts candies (Halloween is coming up, that was why she had candies) but some how William still got infected.\u00a0 He didn&#8217;t throw up so that tells me that he did not eat any; so probably he touched it or smelled it.\u00a0 \u00a0He stopped scratching after the nurse gave him some Benadryl.<\/p>\n<p>The nurse, Vanessa, said that she&#8217;s never seen any allergic case so she would not know if it happens right a way or after a period of time so she called Orange County office to find out.\u00a0 They told her allergic reactions would take place right away.\u00a0 \u00a0I&#8217;m a little bit worried that the nurse is not very experienced so I&#8217;m a bit concern if she knows what to do and do things in the timely manner.<\/p>\n<p>I took him home, made him a cheese sandwich, and gave him milk.\u00a0 I cancelled the Speech therapy session so that he could stay home and rest.\u00a0 After finish the milk, he felt asleep.\u00a0 I went back to work, leaving him for Tim to watch.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_2523\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2523\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-2523 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/william.mtplace.net\/wpMain\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/IMG_3465-600x800.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"800\" srcset=\"http:\/\/william.mtplace.net\/wpMain\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/IMG_3465-600x800.jpg 600w, http:\/\/william.mtplace.net\/wpMain\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/IMG_3465.jpg 673w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-2523\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">His eyes are swollen and red<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2522\" src=\"http:\/\/william.mtplace.net\/wpMain\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/IMG_3464-600x800.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"800\" srcset=\"http:\/\/william.mtplace.net\/wpMain\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/IMG_3464-600x800.jpg 600w, http:\/\/william.mtplace.net\/wpMain\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/IMG_3464.jpg 673w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Monday 11:30 AM.
